So you have come to Copenhagen - welcome! From now on you an honorary islander, since Copenhagen is located on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) - the largest island of the Danish kingdom. We will visit the popular area of Christianshavn, built by King Christian the 4th literally on the water, the fort "3 crowns" artificial island Holmen and the building of the new Royal Opera House, the winter royal palace Amalienborg, Marble Church, waterfront Langelinie, and the popular promenade Nyhavn, which today is a tourist center of Copenhagen, thanks to its colorful houses, cafes, canals, boats, and many restaurants.
